President Elect

It is with deep humility and a profound sense of responsibility that I accept my election as President-Elect of the Pakistan Ophthalmic Association. I am sincerely grateful to the respected seniors, colleagues, and members of the Association for placing their trust in me. This confidence is both an honour and a commitment that I pledge to uphold with integrity, dedication, and transparency.

The Pakistan Ophthalmic Association has a proud legacy of advancing ophthalmic education, clinical excellence, and professional unity across the country. As President-Elect, I look forward to working closely with the Executive Council, seniors, and our energetic younger colleagues to strengthen academic activities, promote ethical practice, encourage subspecialty growth, and address the evolving challenges faced by ophthalmologists nationwide. Together, through collaboration and mutual respect, we can further elevate the standards of eye care and reinforce POA’s role as a strong, inclusive, and progressive professional body.

I seek the continued guidance, support, and cooperation of all members as we move forward with a shared vision for the future of ophthalmology in Pakistan.
